I'm upgradeing a D370/2 to HPUX11.0 (64Bit)
with cold install. But I cannot address the network card (EISA 10/100 Base-T, A3658A).
1.Is there support for the card in HPUX11
64Bit or must I get a new card.
2.We lost the CFG-File f?r the card, where I
get this file (and other requisite files).
3.When I run eisa_config, I get the massage:
"The eisa /dev/eeprom) is not in the kernel"
How can I insert the driver, or where I can
read about.
Thanks in advanced.
Thomas

Re: EISA 100Base-T on HPUX11
sorry, EISA is NOT supported in HP-UX 11.x 64-bit.
So it's up to you to choose for the 32-bit environment (which will become obsolete eventually); or to get another network card.
regards,
Thierry.

Re: EISA 100Base-T on HPUX11
Jun,
You'd need to install the drivers for the adapter from the Application CDs for 11.0.
