EMC with fibre channel and SCSI-2 Controller

I currently have EMC1 connecting to my HPUX server through 2 Fibre Channel controller.

Question:
Can I connect EMC2 to the same HPUX server through SCSI-2 controller. Having both Fibre Channel controller and SCSI-2 controller.

Hi Steve,

You may have both on your server, the hardware path to your disks will be completely different but they'll work the same.

On a typical server with EMC disks connected, you still have the original server boot disk(s) of type SCSI.

Make sure that your SCSI is Fast/Wide or Ultra/Wide and not the Single/ended SCSI found on some Core I/O boards.
