EMS complaining about EMC Clariion
We have an HP 9000 L/RP5400-class server with two HP Tachyon Fibre Channel HBAs properly connected to a fabric. We are able to see that there is a LUN on an EMC Clariion on both HBAs when we do an ioscan, and we were able to create a filesystem on the "primary" HBA. However, we can't read/write to the "secondary" HBA. Which I believe is the way EMC expects/wants it to behave. However, HP Event Monitoring Service (EMS) is complaining about the "secondary" HBA.
How can I prevent EMS from complaining about the "secondary" HBA and still have it monitor all other disks?
Thanks!
