EMS error message

Morning all,
I've been getting an EMS error message about my 2 fibre cards, and don't know how to stop it.
The machine is 9000/800/rp4440, and I've got 2 dual port fibre cards in it.
The first port of each card is connected to the SAN, but the 2nd port of each card is not reuired. Is there a way to disable the 2nd port so that EMS dosn't complain about it, or a way to tell EMS not to monitor it.

Thanks.
Sime.

Re: EMS error message

Simeon,
What's the event number, which monitor is reporting it, and what version of the OnlineDiags do you have (that will be shown as STM version in the event message)?

Using the disabled_instances file is a work-around, but you shouldn't need to do that.

Are the second ports terminated? (Not sure if that's a meaningful question, I'm not a HW engineer.) Do they show up in the 'ioscan' output?
