EMS monitor request package status

Hi,

I'm running MC/SG (A.11.09) on HP-UX11i and I want to define a monitoring request to EMS via SAM:

/cluster/package/package_status

The current value of the package status is unavailable although the packages are running.

I figured out I need to add the necessary MIB's. Where do I find them, how do I add them and are they for free?

I've read that thread and installed the most recent versino of EMS (B7609BA_11.11.depot). The MIB's are installed but the status of my packages in EMS is still unavalaible.

I've restarted the SNMP daemon already. What else do I need to do?

Don't you need the additional 'HA Monitors' product (B5736DA) to monitor a package status with EMS?

The problem is solved. I've installed PHSS_23576. The additional product 'HA monitors' is not required.

Hi,

You need to install few patches as well, for EMS notification restart errors which may start popping in your machine's syslog.log file.

The patches are :
PHSS_23655 and PHCO_23149.
