EMS monitoring requests not shown

I want to configure/confirm EMS event monitors for several TL adapters that attach a disk array. I have attempted to create event monitoring requests from the Resource Management -> Event Monitoring Service area of SAM. There are no monitor requests shown in the "Current Monitoring Requests" of this area.

My questions is should I see all the monitoring requests in the "Current Monitoring Requests" area of SAM that are shown by monconfig option C or just new ones as I create them?

Have you configured any?? Does /etc/opt/resmon/bin/monconfig show them??

Did you try woth monconfig command line??

Was the 'get-community-name' changed in the /etc/snmpd.conf file?

If so, there is a process to go through to have the EMS monitors recognize the change.

Hello,

I now understand the difference between Hardware Monitors and Resource Monitors and their common use of EMS. I do not have and REsource Monitors defined so there are none to display.
