enabling 'largerfiles' in HPUX 10.20

Can someone please let me know how do I enable 'largefiles' in HPUX 10.20? My file system is VxFS.

During file system creation use this syntex

#newfs -F vxfs -o largefile /dev/vg01/lvolnn

then during mount also you have to specify largefile support in /etc/fstab file.

# unmount /filesystem
# fsadm -o largefiles /dev/vgXX/rlvolxx
# mount -a

add the largefiles in the /etc/fstab.

You should enable it when creating the filesystem:
newfs -F vxfs -o largefile /dev/vgXX/lvolYY

You could enable it after creation:
fsadm -o largefiles /dev/vgXX/rlvolxx

In ether case you must remember to mount with the largefiles option. Most often that means adding largefiles to the optins field in fstab.

Also remember that HP-UX 10.20 is out of support.
