Error: 5: I/O error

Do you have any experience about HP-UX tool to recover files/blocks ?

   "Error: 5: I/O error" is a generic message.  What are you doing to
trigger it?  What's the device with the problem?

      uname -a

> [...] recover files/blocks ?

   If you have a disk with a hardware problem, then you might want to
look at your backups.
