Error connnecting to server. VV Urgent !!!!

Hi,

My SC6.2 server is down.

Earlier I was getting the following error :

SOAP Exception : Your session is no longer valid.

Therefore I tried to restart the server, but the server was not shutting down. Some processes were always active.
Therefore I force shut the server : scstop u -f

However now on trying to connect to Windows client , i am getting the following error :
"Error connecting to server. Server not up.
cause : javax.xml.soap.SOAPException : Message send failed - connection to host refused. Your server session may have been terminated or timed out. You may need to go to the login page and log in once again. :

In Web client i am getting the following error that is attached.

Can anyone please help me out to get the SC up ?

Log onto the server using telnet/rlogin/ssh

Take a look at the error logs.

There has to be more.

Try a start of the service while doing a tail -f on the log file.

More information is needed.

You might also try google searches with your error message.

Can you say the OS and patch level of the server?

Suggests you should look for still running processes, terminate them and then clean up IPC resources.
