Error during NFS

Hi,

While trying to restart the NFS server, i get the below error " 7595 Bad system call(coredump)" ..

Any suggestions pls

Suggestions:
1) Restart the system see if it keeps happening.
2) General Quarterly Patch update.
3) Build an NFS patch update from the patch and firmware update on http://itrc.hp.com

We have restarted the server but still the same issue...

would be helpful if you tell us the exact patches to be updated..

A "Bad System Call" error message is generated by SIGSYS which normally means that a system call has been made that is not in the kernel. The most likely explanation is that the "NFS/9000" subsystem is not "In" the kernel. I can't believe that you actually request specific patches when you didn't bother to indicate the OS version. You should be able to use the Patch Database as well as anyone else and (presumably), you know the OS version to look for; we don't.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

thanks for ur inputs.... My Os version is 11.23.... I had rebuilt the kernel last week and have not applied the patchesss...
