Thank You very much for the quick response and also for the information provided.
I have checked the file, lan5 and lan11 are present in /etc/rc.config.d/hpgelan. After making the modifications in /etc/rc.config.d/hpgelan and /etc/rc.config.d/hpigelan. Without rebooting the server, if i run /sbin/init.d/hpgelan start and /sbin/init.d/hpigelan start will that work, because I don't want to reboot the server.
