Error in recovery.log about manifest directory
We are currently backing up our clients an ignite server. For all clients we are getting the error "ERROR: Can't find the manifest directory: /var/opt/ignite/local/manifest/"
When I look on the client /var/opt/ignite/local is a symbolic link to /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x46DB6C95C32F and when I look on the server the directory exists.
I'm a bit confused as to whether it is looking for it locally or remotely.

Re: Error in recovery.log about manifest directory
Try swverify the ignite product
You can also compare with another system which has no problem whether there are missing file in the /var/opt/ignite/local/manifest/ directory

Re: Error in recovery.log about manifest directory
If you're using an ignite server the manifest directory I believe is on the server and not the client.
Have you checked permissions on /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x46DB6C95C32F?
Does /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x46DB6C95C32F/manifest/ exist...from the wording I'm not certain if you validated that specific dir.
Did you just start using Ignite to backup this client or has this been running awhile?
As well which version of Igite are you using and on which specific OS/ver?

The Devil is in the detail.
