Error in syslog
Following error I am getting in Hp-UX11.X syslog.log on N4000 server.
Mar 26 09:58:03 pnpthca4 rexecd[29566]: PAM Status - 9, PAM Error Message - Authentication failed

Re: Error in syslog
This PAM message simply indicates that someone attempted to authenticate through PAM (or the Pluggable Authentication Module) and failed. The most common cause of this error is that they entered an invalid userID or password.
