Re: Error logs

Hi,

This error means that some of your physical devices are not getting accessed through one or more Paths. Device is still functional because you have Multiple paths through fabric to access these. Are you using Veritas volumes manager ? If yes check by "vxdmpadm listctlr all" If no then check for availability of alternate paths thrrough lvdisplay -v /dev/vg*/lvol* command.

Re: Error logs

ok!!!!
So if i understand well what u mean is that probably there is a problem on the one of the SAN switches, this because all the servers are giving the error.

Am i correct???

Re: Error logs

Hi,

Yes, if this error is coming on all servers in fabric then it is a SAN switch problem for sure. You should get a case logged and get it checked. Does SAN switch logs show something wrong ?

Re: Error logs

Yes, try an ioscan -fnCdisk. You will probably see a NO_HW output.
