Error "ct_query failed. hw_path" in dmesg

Hi to all..!!

I have a N4000 with 11.0 conected via fiber chanel to array clarion CX400. In the demesg appear te follow error ct_query failed. hw_path = 1/2/0/0.

I run ioscan y sendme the next :
# ioscan -nfH 1/2/0/0
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description

fc 2 1/2/0/0 td CLAIMED INTERFACE HP Tachyon TL/TS Fibre Cha

Appear one NO_HW.

My device of fiber is bad.?

That's a zoning problem or the host isn't in any storage group on the CX yet. :)
yesterday I stood at the edge. Today I'm one step ahead.

Probably you have disconnected some cables after your last reboot. Even though there is no more connectiopn available, the driver name server cache still has the entries in it. You may remove this with 'rad' command.

Hello Ivan,

The reason ct_query failed you are getting because you don't have any devices connected to the fibre card at present.

Normally you will see these messages, if you run ioscan, and you don't have any devices connected to that card.

Check any devices connected to that card or not.

this happens because the fc cable was disconnected after system came up. And FC drives still has this information in cache.

Check what has happened in your case.

There is no substitute to HARDWORK
