Re: ERROR run ignite
Are you able to mount exported image directory from igniteserver manualy on local machine??
Image directory and /var/opt/ignite/clients/clientname
shoudl have bin:bin and 755 permission.

Solution> ERROR: The list_expander command failed.
- There are many cause that can cause list_expander to fail. To check in detail try checking it manually,
# /opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander > /tmp/list_expander.log
After running the above command review the error and you can troubleshoot,
Cheers,
Raj.

Re: ERROR run ignite
I have seen some circular link like:
/bin/bash --> /bin/bash caused list_expander to fail.
I have also seen in VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) there are few file which causes circular link, and that cause ignite backup to fail. Just need to check it with the list_exapnder manually and you will find it.
-If it is due a circular link, remove that link and rerun list_expander again.
-If it is successful, re-run ignite backup.
Cheers,
Raj.
