Solution1, swlist -l fileset -a state | grep -e corrup
2a, if you are 100% that your SUDO app is correct use swmodify
swmodify -a state=configured PRODUCT.FILESET
more man swmodify
2b, you could reinstall the SUDO
wit the switch -x reinstall=true ....
2c, uninstall the SUDO and install it again.

Re: error software sudo
The best option is uninstall sudo and reinstall it.

swlist |grep -i sudo
ixSudo A.14.00-1.7.2p1.001 Super User Do
if actually installed with swinstall then

Re: error software sudo
swverify \*
This sometimes fixes these issues but I doubt it.
swremove sudo
Download sudo anew from Internet Express of http://software.hp.com
Install again.

Re: error software sudo
not that there is anything wrong with the porting center version but....you will have to install all run-time requisites as well.
The HP internet express version is simpler...

Re: error software sudo
Sudo can be downloaded from many sources.
internet
sudo open source project
hp
porting and archive center
even on a DVD provided by HP.
I recommend downloading from software.hp.com.
once downloaded to this server you will typically have a file with a .depot ending ( e.g. /tm/ixsudo.depot
you can then either list the contents or install the software using the "sw-agent" commands.
swlist -s /tmp/ixsudo.depot
swinstall -s /tmp/ixsudo.depot
( remember that we cannot see what you are doing so you will need to fully explain what you have done or not done or looking for ).
This tread started with a discussion about sudo errors. the recommendation was to remove the corrupt sudo and reinstall.
are we still at that point ? or in some distant place ?

The latter is probably older but it was tested by HP.
