error using SSH from Linux to HP-UX 11i
I am trying to connect from Mandrake Linux to HP-UX 11.11 with SSH v.3.50 installed.
I get:
# ssh
#
With verbose option:
# ssh -v
OpenSSH_2.9p2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090602f

#
In the server syslog:
May 8 11:36:58 sshd[1727]: probed from with SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_2.9p2. Don't panic.
I can connect to the server from Windows-based SSH clients without any problem.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Re: error using SSH from Linux to HP-UX 11i
Hm,strange.Client obviously has its RSA/DSA
keys generated (ssh-keygen),but As Far as I know it also should have the keys appended at
server,~/.ssh/autorized_keys1(2) files (per account authentication). Also nice to check ssh_config file on mandrake (grep -i authentication , check for RSA/public authentication)

Zeev
