Error while configuring LDAP..

Hi,

I am configuring ldap client.
#cd /opt/ldapux/config
#./setup

It is first prompting for
1.Netscape directory
2.Windows Active directory..
i have selected option :1
You want to changes the configuration (yes/no):yes
I have entered the ldap server name and port..
next
Promted for
Profile Entry DN: []:
i gave as
Profile Entry DN: []:"cn= Director Manager"
then it prompted for
User DN:
i gave as
User DN:dc=hellow,dc=hai,dc=com
Asked for passwd
password:xxxxx
then
it is throwing following error:-
ctrl-B]=Go Back

ress any key to continue:

if i press any key it is coming out..



Anybody has idea about this?

You have netscape LDAP directory server up and running and the right authentication information?

What verson of Netscape? What version of the LDAP-UX client(3.3 or 4.0)?

LDAP server was not able to authenticate you. Make sure you are supplying the correct password and what authentication method you follow?

LDAP client version is 4.0. no idea about Netscape server. I have verified server is running fine and today morning we configured Solaris clients.
