Error while running "cmquerycl"

Hi,

We are using a L2000 server with HPUX 11.0 We have connected a SC10 disk array to the extended-bus. We are trying to form a single node cluster. When we run the cmquerycl command, we are getting the following error.

# cmquerycl -C cmclconfig.ascii -n geer

Permission denied to geer
cmquerycl : Unable to find an unused cluster name: No such device or address.

here, "geer" is our m/c name.

Any pointers??

Thanks & Regards,

Re: Error while running "cmquerycl"

Believe it or not, ServiceGuard requires 'remote access' to your local machine for it to configure itself!

Either create the file /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodelist with the line:

geer root

in it, or create a /.rhosts file with the same name. (remember to make sure the .rhosts file in root is permissions 400).
