Error while starting Dazel processes on HP-UX 11i OS
Hello,
We have HP Dazel Output server: 3.3.0.2.1.2 installed on HP-UX 11i OS.
We are trying to start Dazel processes using command /opt/dazel/bin> start_server -t all, using unix id 'dazel'. This gives us the following;
Starting name-space-manager 'nm'
start_server : nm exceeded startup timeout of 30 seconds. Adjust server-startup-completion-time
In /opt/dazel/var/log/nm.log, following message is seen;
Thu Mar 25 16:39:08 uxmum13 dzl_nmd[8809]: Thread 1: [error 00214020] Found another instance of the DAZEL Namespace Manager
This dazel installation used to work earlier and we had printed documents using this set-up. We have not used this set-up for quite some time.
Any help shall be appreciated.
regards
bhooshan

Re: Error while starting Dazel processes on HP-UX 11i OS
Bhooshan,
Please be sure all dazel processes are stopped.
run this commands:
ps -ef | grep dzl
If this command returns a process running for the NM, kill it.
Then try starting your NM.
