Errors in DVD (Abort -- lbolt)

vmunix: SCSI: Request Timeout; Abort -- lbolt: 268882432, dev: bc032000, io_id: 30018d2

vmunix: SCSI: Request Timeout; Abort -- lbolt: 268885832, dev: bc032000, io_id: 30018c7

This bc032000 is the dvd-rom

disk 2 0/0/2/1.2.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP DVD-ROM 6x/32x
/dev/dsk/c3t2d0 /dev/rdsk/c3t2d0

What is wrong? Does anyone could help me?

Re: Errors in DVD (Abort -- lbolt)

The most probable cause is the connection between your system, and the DVD-ROM. I suggest opening a case with whomever supports this box, and have the DVD-ROM, and SCSI cable replaced.

Hope this helps.

Re: Errors in DVD (Abort -- lbolt)

Hi Carme,

as you described the messages come from DVD-ROM, you have to check from an HW point of view the connection between system and DVD (I think also that replacing the cable could help).

Good luck...
