I have reconfigured one cluster, and now when I do cmrunpkg -n hp9ges01 GES, it shows me in the ges.cfg.old:

/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[28]: FAILOVER_POLICY: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[42]: FAILBACK_POLICY: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[52]: NODE_NAME: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[53]: NODE_NAME: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[67]: RUN_SCRIPT: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[68]: RUN_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[69]: HALT_SCRIPT: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[70]: HALT_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[194]: PKG_SWITCHING_ENABLED: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[201]: NET_SWITCHING_ENABLED: not found.
/etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg[208]: NODE_FAIL_FAST_ENABLED: not found.

Solution
I think you already check the contents of the config file and the permissions?
try using cmcheckconf -P /etc/cmcluster/GES/ges.cfg
This will give more information on what is wrong in the config file of the package.
If the check is OK, try to apply this config file again (cmapplyconf)
