/etc/fstab mount option(s)
Not certain if this forum (SA), LVM or Security was the best location, but:
In the /etc/fstab file, when mounting NFS file systems, I have seen on "other" platforms a mounting option "nodev". I've searched the forums and see that this was addressed before, but the topic listings seemed years old.
Just wondering if anything has changed? Basically, I have a requirement to ensure that any file systems mounted via NFS (that also contain device special files) to disallow (potential) access to any local system devices.
