/etc/inittab log ?

Is there a log one can review to insure all items in the /etc/inittab file execute at startup ?

Re: /etc/inittab log ?

Hi Brent,

I don't think it's logged in /etc/rc.log, I think only logging is errors in syslog.log - unless the process specifically kicks off it own log.

Re: /etc/inittab log ?

Hi,

Check the /etc/rc.log. this should contain all the information about the startup scripts.

Hope this helps,

Re: /etc/inittab log ?

/etc/rc.log logs all the start scripts run at startup. But there is no log for inittab.
