/etc/rc.log file
I encountered this error yesterday when I rebooted my L2000 server.
Enabling device paging on /dev/vg00/lvol2.
/usr/sbin/swapon: /dev/vg00/lvol2 is already enabled for paging.
Enabling device paging on /dev/vg00/lvswap2.
Warning: swapon returned exit code: 1
"/sbin/rc1.d/S500swap_start start" FAILED
any advice?

Re: /etc/rc.log file
You should remove the /dev/vg00/lvol2 entry from your /etc/fstab.
Hope this helps

Re: /etc/rc.log file
Sounds like you have an entry in the /etc/fstab file that should be removed,
/dev/vg00/lvol2.
This is your primary swap partition, which is trying to be added a second time.
