Exactly what happens when you convert to a trusted system?

We're evaluating HP's Bastille product right now on one of our systems, and my team lead wanted to know what happens to a machine when you convert to a trusted system.

I know that it enables shadow passwords, password policies and auditing, but is there a doc or whitepaper that covers everything? I've searched for info and all I've really found is general stuff about how to do the conversion and how to manage a trusted system. Thus far, I haven't found anything that give specifics. If I've missed the obvious, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
