Example MC/Serviceguard script for IPLANET
Hello I was wonding if anyone could post a simple MC/Serviceguard configuration example for two nodes with concurrent access to the filesystem via EMC solara and running an IPLANET web application. The application is only up on one node at a time, which is what will be failing over. Initially this will be a very simplistic setup. Many Thanks.

Re: Example MC/Serviceguard script for IPLANET

Which iPlanet application? Web server,
Messaging server, Directory server, etc. etc
The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit (ECMT)
is part of the same Mission Critical OE as MC/ServiceGuard.
This product included supported failover
scripts for most of the iPlanet products.
Specifically:
FastTrack Server
Enterprise Server
Enterprise Server Pro
Proxy Server
Directory Server
Messaging Server
Collabra Server
Calendar Server
So if you have SG, you also
have the ECMT and you are all set.
The only gotcha is that there weren't
that many customers using these specific
scripts and so they were retired/removed
from the latest release of the ECMT (B.02.10
which was released in June 04). These
scripts are in ECMT B.02.00 and earlier.
