Have you changed the ip addresses of your servers ?. Are they accessible through ping ?.

Are the servers running the x windows services?
are you using VUE or CDE ?
Can you ping to you server's ip from the clients ?.

somebody having turned off the XDMCP broadcast as the starting configuration is one potential reason, but just a wrong netmask for your PC's network is another one - with the wrong netmask the broadcasts will not be understood by the "dtlogin" daemons (XDMCP daemons).

He then went and used the
Start-->programs-->Hummingbird connectivity v7.0-->Exceed-->Client Wizard
That at least got him the screen to login.
I know the user but since I have neither windows 2000 or exceed v7.0 I can not substantiate the results.
No points necessary. The only hat I need is one to cover my balding spot.
