Exe to Perl
Hi,
Is it possible to convert an exe ( which was done using a perl2exe ) to perl script form.
Kindly guide me in this regard. As I do have exe which was generated from perl2exe and unfortunately lost the source perl file.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Raghu.

Re: Exe to Perl
Even though I don't know existence of such a utlity, I have heard that perl2exe is not a very effective way of hiding the code, which most people were using the utility for.
go to google.com and search for "hpux perl2exe reversal" phrase without the quotation marks and you can read a lot about the discussions in perl and security related forums.
good luck... also backup, backup, backup... with a good backup, you should have not found yourself at this point, ever.

Re: Exe to Perl
Google is your friend.

"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"
