Executable Enhanced AutoFS maps
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to create some executable maps for enhanced autofs.
The script runs and is generating the proper automount format. (I redirected the output to a file, restarted automount, and presto, it all works.)
When the script is in place as auto.home or auto.direct, and the executable mode is set (755), when running the automount command to re-read the maps, it just errors out and says:
"/usr/sbin/showmount is not a mountable directory" etc..
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Don

Re: Executable Enhanced AutoFS maps
I have found my answer. It only works for indirect maps and specifically not auto.home and auto.direct.
