Experience with Veritas CFS implementation for Oracle RAC ?

Folks,

I would appreciate if someone can share some configuration guidelines/reference/experiences for Veritas Cluster File Server (CFS) product *implementation* on HPUX 11i & Oracle RAC.

In long term looks like Veritas CFS can replace most of the platform specific cluster products like MC/SG, HACMP, TrueCluster etc.

- TIA

Re: Experience with Veritas CFS implementation for Oracle RAC ?

It's a very good product. You shouldn't think of CFS as a replacement for MC/SG but rather an enhancement of MC/SG. Multiple nodes can be active (Oracle RAC) but now rather than using shared raw LVOL's, they use a common fully-cooked filesystem. Buffer cache consistancy is maintained across all the active nodes running this package. It's only available for 11.23 and up. A dedicated network is needed for the CFS itself.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

I'd like to know if HP-UX 11.11 is supported.
Another answer explicitly quotes 11.23
