Extended connection logging in Syslog.log
Hi,
We have SeRAC with two nodes. I got Split braing syndrom error in oracle alert log, and found following error in my syslog.log file.
Mar 15 22:09:45 dagdb001 inetd[862]: Extended connection logging disabled
Mar 15 22:09:46 dagdb001 above message repeats 21763 times
Mar 15 22:09:45 dagdb001 inetd[862]: Extended connection logging enabled
This error is continuous.
I was not able to do telnet , rlogin to the server. Then I restarted the inetd daemon, now it is ok.
Can anybody help me to find out the root cause to this prob.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Sundar

Re: Extended connection logging in Syslog.log
Hi,
Check with Oracle, they are telling it is because of Network / Cluster prob on OS level.
