Solution>>>/dev/vgcare/lvoldic 4096000 3586136 478004 88% /dic
Above Logical volume exist under (VG = vgcare free space left in the volume group = 150 GB)
If I would consider "you have Online JFS" purpose of Online jfs you can extend the FS /LV on fly with out unmounting and no downtime required.
if you d'not have you need to unmount, lvextend, extenfs, mount, conserponding logical volumes.
#swlist -l product |grep -i JFS -> (check wether online JFS) Installed
# lvextend -L
# fsadm -F vxfs -b
(if d'not have Online jfs, stop all you application & Database ..etc..)
# unmount /File_system_name
# lvextend -L
# extendfs -F vxfs /dev/vg00/rlvoldic_idx
# mount /dev/vgcare/lvoldic_idx /dic_idx
>>>>>/dev/vg00/lvol4 20480000 19966184 513596 90% /Oracle <<<<<<
here also procedure same as above mentioned, if you have online jfs you extendfs on fly, if not you need (down Oracle DB & application) and proceed to lvextend file system
Above Logical volume exist under (VG = vg00 free space left in the volume group = 37 GB)
if satisfied with answers. consider assign points , and close the thread

Re: extending the mirror logical volume
means you want to add another (20GB) ..? if yes
# lvextend -L 40960 /dev/vg00/lvol4
# extendfs -F vxfs /dev/vg00/rlvol4
>>and extend my /lvoldic_idx and /lvoldic up to 20GB each if posible in the same vgcare group. can u please help me the exact command to apply this<<<
# lvextend -L 20480 /dev/vgcare/l/voldic_idx
# extendfs -F vxfs /dev/vgcare/rlvoldic_idx
# lvextend -L 20480 /dev/vgcare/lvoldi
# extendfs -F vxfs /dev/vgcare/rlvoldi
# mount -a
(will help to mount all the file system)
>>can u please help me<<
You can also help me to understand execution of commands by checking (man pages)
man lvextend
man extendfs
(Good examples are given)
