Extension of an EVA vdisk
Hi,
In order to test the vgmodify command, I have to extend the size of an EVA Vdisk. The point, is that diskinfo command return the old size of this Vdisk, and the evainfo returns the new size.
I have to reboot the server in order to have the correct output from diskinfo.
Some one has any idea about this point??
Regards
Ky Phung NGUYEN

Re: Extension of an EVA vdisk
Your other thread sounds like this is working.

Same system with 11.23 and HPVM?
vgmodify used?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Extension of an EVA vdisk
Hi,
I am user an HPUX 11V2 , on the host .
Yes the vgmodify is working well. But the issue is with the output of diskinfo. The new size is only seen by the server after a reboot? Do you know a more soft way to obtain the same result.
