Fail in Distribution Print Service- DPS
Trouble with DPS, the error.log say:
Lun, 25 Mar 2002 11:03:31 [] 5010-623 The HPDPS client daemon is listening on port 6874.
Lun, 25 Mar 2002 11:03:31 [] 5010-396 Successfully started the HPDPS client daemon.
Mar, 02 Abr 2002 11:56:01 [] 5010-623 The HPDPS client daemon is listening on port 6874.
Mar, 02 Abr 2002 11:56:02 [] 5010-396 Successfully started the HPDPS client daemon.
Mar, 02 Abr 2002 14:41:33 [] 5010-137 A DCE error occurred during rpc_ep_unregister. Use your local problem-reporting procedure to report this message.
Mar, 02 Abr 2002 14:41:33 [] 5010-589 The DCE message text is: Connection closed (dce / rpc)
Mar, 02 Abr 2002 14:41:33 [] 5010-395 The program pdclientd has been interrupted by the signal 15 (SIGTERM).
Please, help me. Thanks

OK I know HPDPS relies on rpc/dce working so :
ps -ef ?? grep -i dce ?
O/S ?
cd /var/opt/dce/svc
ll *.logs
have any been written to recently ? if yes please detail errors shown AND also check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log.
initially this sounds like it maybe related to networking problems ... ep = end point
Also what's the H/W and how many lan cards are configured ?
ps are you running measureware at all ?
