Failback_policy to be changed
what is the best option for failback_policy on hp ux 11.23 cluster ? is it AUTOMATIC or Manual ?..
if i want to make to MANUAL from AUtomatic (customer requiremnet) ,what steps to be followed ??it would be appreciated someone can brief the step by step procedure for changing the parameter and applying to cluster binary ...

FAILBACK_POLICY
You set this to be:
FAILBACK_POLICY MANUAL
That's all it takes. Then it is always best to do a cmcheckconf -v -P pkg.ascii to make sure your package is ok and then a cmapplyconf -v -P pkg.ascii
As for which policy is best....well most folks tend to lean to MANUAL. Think about it, if you had a box having hardware issues going up and down...Your package will then be playing like a yoyo, back and forth. It is better to control the situation by only failing forward. Then put your package back to where you want it, when you have confirmed all is solid first !

so you update pkg conf file at one node and run cmcheckconf followed by cmapplyconf

no need to put package/cluster down for this!!
