Failure after installing HP-UX

Hi,

I installed HP-UX on EVA4000 LUN and when the system rebooted after installation, it threw an erro in RST EMS listener -

Configuring Ultra320 SCSI Mass Storage interfaces ................... OK
Starting the Winbind Daemon ......................................... N/A
Starting the RST EMS listener ....................................... FAIL*
Configure HP Fibre Channel Tachyon TL/TS Mass Storage interfaces .... OK
Configuring HP Fibre Channel FCD Mass Storage interfaces ............ OK


Is this important to HP-UX?
How can I make it successful?
Is it safe to ignore the error? If yes, how to mask it?

Please suggest.

During installation, I had not given any information about NIS server since we do not use it.

This is not part of NIS, it is part of the ISEE monitoring software.

Is it PA-RISC or Integrity?
Is ISEE installed and configured?

a response?

My system is HP Integrity server rx2620.

ifconfig lan0 # if lan0 is your primary lan.
Lets say the server is 192.168.0.79

http://192.168.0.79:5060/start.html

Are you saying that doesn't work? If so the service simply isn't running.

The file /etc/rc.log should give you an indication why it is failing.
