Fatal error: Telnet device drivers missing: No such device
So I understand how to correct this.
Too many telnet sessions open, and we need to increase the nstrtel kernel parameter.
What I dont understand is how it got to that.
When I logged in and did a "w"
I had sessions still logged in that I no for a fact that that user is not logged in. It was actually on one user (dvan) that seemed to be the problem, which put it passed the limit of 60 of the nstrtel parameter.
They use an exceed session that they log in thru telnet, to bring back a xwidows app.
So, I need to understand why they sessions were not cleared. Because I can increase the parameter and still be in the same boat.

Re: Fatal error: Telnet device drivers missing: No such device
Shalom,
It doesn't matter why the sessions are not cleared.
increase nstrtel to a higher level, compile your kernel or let sam do it for you.
insf -e to create more device files and move on.

Do you just have a shell for each or is there more?
$ UNIX95=1 ps -Hxfu dvan
(You need to attach this output otherwise the indentation may be messed up.)
Here is another user with a similar problem. Not sure we solved it.
