fbackup and largefiles

I want to use fbackup for db files. Supports fbackup and frecover large files?

Yes,

Fbackup/frecover supports files over 2 GB.

Yes

fbackup/frecovery supports large files over 2GB.

fbackup/frecover are the only backup/restore utilities that support large files > 2 GB.

Note that without special scripting to put the database in backup mode, you can't use fbackup on a hot, up database.

fbackup will be very effective in backing up a database that has been previously shutdown. For Oracle shutdown immediate.

Just for good measure on the answers you have received, attached is the doc we created for this process on a server named gumby for files exceeding 2 gb.
