FC A3740 with fabric login

hi all,

i am currently involved in a storage consolidation project and we want to consolidate 6 boxes to 1 large box.
most of the servers have fabric login via brocades, but we have 4 old 11.00 servers (L-class and N-class) with A4740 built-in and a quickloop connection to the box. i have heard that this cards does not support fabric-login and i have to replace them through the A5158.

so i want to know your experiences, if this cards support fabric or if i have replace them.

The A3740A cannot do a fabric login due to hardware and it was only supported up to hp-ux 11.00. No support for newer OS releases.

Even the A5158A is old now. Recommendation is to use A6795A.
