fcmsutil is not working because /dev/fcd6 is not a tachyon HBA.

Yeah... I meant to erase that "this is an itamium"... rp4440 obviously pa-risc.


Now... regarding the response that this is not a tachyon card... fcmsutil works here (different server - still PA-RISC, same product number card):

A "what" command on /stand/vmunix showed that the driver wasn't in the kernel..

I had similar issue displaying same error today with the ITANIUM server having AB379 fc card. This was resolved by copying the /opt/fcms/bin/fcmsutil and other files under /opt/fcms/bin/ from similar server having same type of fc card and same version of FC-FD software product installed.
Better back-up the files before overwritting.
