FDDI / SCSI bridge/switch

I have some SCSI tape drives that need to be housed away from the computer room. I'm trying to find a way to connect them to an L2000 (currently the tape drives are connected to an Alpha OpenVMS system via an FDDI / SCSI solution via an MTI StinfRay).
We have one OpenVMS server remaining to migrate to HP-UX and I need to connect the SCSI tape drives to the HP-UX Server via FDDI or fibre in some fashion. The tape drives are an IBM 3270, Emulex 8mm, an HP 9-track (yes, we still have clients using that ancient thing, so we must have it here to read their tapes).

Can anyone offer a solution or point me in the right direction to find a solution(s)?

Thanks in advance!

..Joe

Re: FDDI / SCSI bridge/switch

You can do it with an HP Fibre channel SCSI bridge 2100. Go to hp.com, and search under products. Weve used them before to do what you want.

Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
