Fiber Channel cards, Firmware is busy. Retry later
I've a RP4440 running HP-UX 11v1.
I've run into an ioscan pretty slow to return an answer problem. I figured out that was the HBA or maybe the SAN configuration problem.
When I run a fcmsutil stat -s on one of my HBA I have this error:
ERROR: Unable to get link stats. Firmware is busy. Retry later.
Anyone know something about that?

Re: Fiber Channel cards, Firmware is busy. Retry later
I would try again (maybe the firmware is no longer busy with whatever) and check if the driver is up to date (this could be a good example for a "... in rare cases ..." issue.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
