Hi All;
i have installed new fibre card in a hp unix box.it has a OLAR installation. i need to check wheater the card has installed successully.. How do i check that?? Help me..

Hi Indrajit,
try these
ioscan will list how many you have
fcmsutil /dev/td0
fcmsutil /dev/td1
etc...
1) ioscan -fC fc
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
===================================================================
fc 2 0/0/6/0/0 td CLAIMED INTERFACE HP Tachyon XL2 Fibre Channel Mass Storage Adapter
fc 0 0/0/12/0/0 td CLAIMED INTERFACE HP Tachyon XL2 Fibre Channel Mass Storage Adapter
fc 1 1/0/4/0/0 td CLAIMED INTERFACE HP Tachyon XL2 Fibre Channel Mass Storage Adapter
fc 3 1/0/14/0/0 td CLAIMED INTERFACE HP Tachyon XL2 Fibre Channel Mass Storage Adapter
I have installed few of these and connected to our SAN and also VA's.
let me know if you need more help on this.
