Re: File system limit

Hi Dennis,
the limit with 10.20 is 128 GB local, and with 11.x is 1 TB.

Re: File system limit

On HPUX 10.20, it can grow up to 128GB but the root file system limit is 2GB.

Hope this helps,

Re: File system limit

Dennis,
Be aware, there is a hidden gotcha' to be found here.
It has to do with backup/restore, and the number of files in one directory structure.
It also depends on limitations of the backup utility you are using along with which platform/interface you are using.
This requires info from your backup vendor as well as testing, testing, testing......
Been there done that....no fun.....especially if it's a suprise!
