Filenet IM 3.6 om HPUX11iv1 64bits

We are about to move our Filenet test environment IM3.6 SP3 +HFP to a new server with HPUX11iv1
Filenet insists this should be the OS 32bits version but failed to produce any document proving this is not working on 64bits version (OS).
IMS v4 (Filenet next release)require 11iv1 64bits. We don't really want to upgrade or re-install the OS as this is time consuming and also it does not make sense to us that this should be the OS 32bits.
Anyone with such configuration :
HPUX11iv1 64bits
Oracle8i (32bits)
IM 3.6 SP3

Note : currently our test environment runs on HPUX11.0 K series, 64bits !

I would expect 32bit code to run on a 64bit machine. The major difference is the addressability of memory etc. As the 32bit application will not make use of 64bit calls, it's certainly worth a test.
Please be aware of library issues and Oracle 8 support end-date.

I know oracle8i is out of (normal) support but we have such environment on K series with HPUX11.0 as opposed to HPUX11iv1
Hence my post.

as I do not run this configuration, I did not want to state a definite solution.

As I suggested, you may want to try.

I am sure somebody else will have the same set-up and will be able to give you an answer from experience.
