						i have to collect  password policy data which we have modified thru SAM.I dont find any /etc/default/security file in the box as we have not created.OS version is HP-UX 11i v1. You should not have used sam.
Take a look at the man page for /etc/default/security and set your policies there.

						I have to collect for so many boxes.None of the boxes configured for /etc/default/security.All boxes are trusted.When taking data using getprpw , i find the output data different from GUI security policy.Can you  pls help.like  from  SAM GUI MAx Passwd ength is 16 but from getprpw the value shows -1.
