Re: filesystem

You can use df as well for disk free informations for all file systems.

# df

If you want to know space usage in specific file system with other than bdf then,
use

# du -k

-Muthu

Re: filesystem

Moun -v will give details like type of Fs, mounted options & mount points. also bdf will list the available/used space.

thanks

Re: filesystem

Hi Mridul, You can use sam (System Administration Manager ) to find out the status of FS in HP-UX

# sam --> Disks and File Systems --> â File Systems

Re: filesystem

Only bdf command will show all status of file systems with usage and i-node usage.

To get per file system (lvol) informations then,

# lvdisplay -v
-Muthu
