Finding information on Measureware , EMS ( Event Monitoring Services ) ?

Hi

The link below is for all OpenView Manuals.
If you select Performance Agent (new name for MWA) you'll get all the manuals for MWA. The user guide is the most useful for setting up MWA (parm file etc).

On a very basic level if you want to send MWA alarms to OVO (ITO) or NNM look at the agsysdb command.
For example to send MWA alarms to ITO, configure your /var/opt/perf/alarmdef file, ensure that ITO agent is running on the client and then enter:
# agsysdb -ito on
(man agsysdb will give you more info)
